BMW M5 F10

Presented in 2011. The BMW M5 F10 was the first with a turbocharged V8 engine under the hood. It had a volume of 4.4 l and was available with a manual or dual-clutch transmission. The car is equipped, among other things, with an active differential, which distributes the torque between the right and left wheels so as not to throw the car out of balance.

The engine generates a maximum power of 560 hp, and the sprint to a hundred takes just 4.4 seconds. With the optional M Driver Package, the car accelerates to 305 km/h. In 2014, the Competition package was introduced, which increased the power to 575 hp. It also has changed suspension settings that lower the car by 10 mm. In 2015, the power of the Competition package increased to 600 hp.

In 2015, a limited edition of the 30 Jahre BMW M5 was shown, which went on sale in the number of 300 units. It is distinguished by the color Frozen Dark Silver and commemorative badges inside the car, including one with the serial number. The car is equipped with the Competition package.

BMW M5 F90

This generation was created in 2017-2023 and received xDrive instead of rear-wheel drive. The car was presented at Gamescom, where the game “Need for Speed: Payback” was promoted. The engine comes from the F10 and has a maximum power of 600 hp. The car accelerates to a hundred in 3.4 s.

In August 2018, the Competition package was introduced, which boosts power to 617 hp, has stiffer springs and a lowered suspension, as well as an exhaust system with a particulate filter.
